Nome Privacy Policy
How Nomad Maraud handles personal data collected through Nome applications, APIs, account surfaces, downloads, support flows, and related services.
What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy describes how Nomad Maraud handles personal data collected through Nome websites, applications, APIs, account surfaces, downloads, support flows, and related services.
This policy does not replace a separate enterprise data processing agreement, security addendum, or other written contract that governs a specific customer deployment. Where those agreements apply, they control for that customer relationship.
Information we collect
We may collect account identifiers, authentication data, billing and subscription metadata, device and session identifiers, product usage telemetry, support and proposal submissions, release-channel state, download and redemption activity, and communications required to operate or secure Nome.
Depending on product configuration, Nome may also process content you submit, files you attach, connector metadata, organization context, and records generated through feedback, support, demo, or wallet-pass flows.
How we use information
We use information to provide, secure, maintain, improve, and support Nome; to operate billing, credits, entitlements, account recovery, download distribution, release management, and abuse prevention; and to comply with legal obligations.
We may also use service telemetry and feedback to diagnose failures, improve reliability, measure product adoption, and prioritize development, subject to customer configuration and applicable law.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with infrastructure, payment, authentication, analytics, and support providers that help us operate Nome, subject to contractual and security controls.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or the service, to investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Security, retention, and control
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and the service, but no system can be guaranteed fully secure. Customers remain responsible for their own account hygiene, access controls, and downstream data handling.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, satisfy legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security or audit records. Retention may vary by product surface, environment, and customer agreement.
Your choices
Depending on product configuration and applicable law, you may be able to access, update, export, or delete certain information, or adjust discoverability, presence, and training-consent settings from your account surfaces.
Questions or requests related to privacy, security, or data governance should be directed through the authorized Nome support or enterprise contact path.
